Inspired by the Texas Panhandle where I have been working for the last month and a half or so. Hopefully, that phase of the job is over and done with, even though I will miss the State Park partners. Caprock Canyons is a pretty darn good state park, worth a look if you’re ever in the neighborhood.

This was born out of a new desire to depict dream architectures, dream spaces, and other mind generated lacunae.

Damn that coffee bean (I love him, but he’s so abusive. He only beats me cuz he loves me).

I’m thinking of changing the direction of unlike comix to a less gag-driven style, more freedom to add in some autobio, sketch, and life study drawing. I am feeling a little constrained by my thinking concerning the comics/art that I’ve been doing, and I both need and want a change. More art, less jokes, I guess.

Biking in Austin is pretty fun, but I think that everyone needs to convert to my new religion “Just Chill Out” which has several commandments but the greatest of these is “have some goddam patience and go slower, so that you don’t scare the ever-living shit out of everyone else on the road, it doesn’t make you a big man to buy a big car”, which I admit is a tad specific for a commandment.

Anyway, everyone should own a bike and ride the hell out of it.
